Amplification of Sound Permit

A permit is required to operate any device for the amplification of sound, including loudspeakers, public address systems, jukeboxes, or similar devices, within the city limits of Dalton.  These permits can be obtained from the Dalton Police Department by submitting an application (click here).  The application fee is $5.  

Keep in mind, an approved permit may be revoked if it is found that the use or operation of such a device is such as to cause a disturbance to people in the vicinity of the premises of the user or operator of such device.
