The IT Department is responsible for maintaining the City's Network Including City Hall, (5) Fire Departments, Police Department, Municipal Court, Recreation and Public Works Departments with 340 Users and Approximately 250 Personal Computers with 35 virtual servers.

Jorge Paez - IT Director

Jorge Paez was hired in October 2019 as the new City IT Director. Jorge has worked in the IT field since 2014, most recently as an IT system administrator and tech for a local manufacturing firm in Dalton. Jorge is a graduate of Dalton State College where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on management information systems.
