DPD Searching For Missing Man

UPDATE (11/13/23) - Mr. Tipton was located and is safe. 

The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public's help to locate 41 year old Timothy Tipton. He was reported missing by his family and was last seen on November 7th. 

Tipton was last seen on November 7th at a room he was staying in at the Whitfield County Extended Stay at 2220 Chattanooga Road. After family reported him missing on November 9th, police found that the room had been cleared out and Tipton had apparently moved on. People staying in neighboring rooms reported they'd seen him last on the 7th which was also the last time any family members had heard from Tipton by phone. 

Timothy Tipton is six feet tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
