DPD Investigating Catalytic Converter Thefts

The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two men who stole catalytic converters from four school buses at Christian Heritage School. The men wore facial coverings but investigators hope someone will recognize them based on clothing and physical build.
The incident happened on April 9th at approximately 4:00 pm. The two men drove a newer black Chevy Equinox with some sort of temporary license tag onto the Christian Heritage campus. The suspects parked the vehicle near a group of parked school buses. The men then spent several minutes cutting the catalytic converters from the vehicles before driving away.
One suspect wore a gray sweater with gray pants and is six feet tall or taller with a very thin build. The other suspect wore a black sweater and ripped jeans who was much shorter. Both men wore gloves.
