Training

The Training Section is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the training for all members of the Dalton Police Department.  The DPD conducts its own in-service training, to include annual firearms certification, and hosts other advanced and specialized training courses that are open to other law enforcement agencies.  For questions regarding upcoming training classes, contact Sergeant Matias Castillo at mcastillo@daltonga.gov or 706-278-9085 ext. 352.
