DPD Investigating Shoplifting
The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify two suspects who shoplifted items from a Dalton Dollar General store recently. The incident was recorded on store surveillance.
The incident happened on September 9th. The two suspects, a white male and a white female, entered the Dollar General on East Morris Street shortly after 6:00 pm and began to take items from the shelves and hide them in the woman's purse. The suspects took several bottles of shampoo and soap. The suspects then left the car and got into a white passenger vehicle. A store manager followed them into the parking lot, and the pair backed away out of camera view, apparently attemping to keep their license tag from being seen.
The suspects were a white male with brown hair and a short brown beard. He wore a black shirt, hat, and dark pants. The female suspect wore a strapless shirt with gray gym shorts. Both suspects were recorded on surveillance and images are included below.
If you know these suspects, please contact Detective John Edwards at 706-278-9085, extension 9-152.
