What is the City Doing?

The City's Mayor and Council are meeting on a daily basis to receive updates on the situation in our community and are working with local Department of Health leaders and also leaders from the business and manufacturing communities in an effort to try to mitigate the impact of the virus on our community while trying to keep people safe from illness. 

The City of Dalton has taken a number of steps to try to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Most city facilities have re-opened to the public, but some remain closed. The City is conducting as much business as possible over the phone or online. The City is live-streaming court proceedings and also City Council meetings on the City's YouTube channel.
