Request For Proposals - Floor Covering Replacements For City Buildings
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - Floor covering replacement for The city of Dalton Public Works Administrative Building and City Hall
The City of Dalton requests sealed proposals from qualified firms with proven experience and expertise in removal, replacement, sales and installation of floor coverings for specified areas within the Public Works Administrative Building, located at 535 N Elm Street, and City Hall, located at 300 W Waugh Street. There will be a mandatory onsite walkthrough for firms to secure exact measurements on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 9:00 AM. The City of Dalton’s goal is to have the existing carpet replaced with a Commercial Grade floor covering that is suitable for high traffic areas and is stain resistant (material type, color, and pattern as determined by the City Representatives). Product warranty information is to be included in the proposal, as well.
The selected firm must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and other necessary resources for the properly removal, disposal, and replacement of existing floor covering in accordance with any applicable local, state and federal rules, regulations and other required directives.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Dalton Finance Department located at 300 W. Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30722 until:
Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM ET
for the above referenced project. Sealed proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Proposers shall inform themselves of and comply with all conditions and specifications contained in RFP, related documents, and State and Federal Law. Proposers will be required to attend a mandatory pre-proposal site visit, as described in the RFP, in order to be considered a responsive proposer.
The request for proposal package is open to public inspection at the City of Dalton Public Works Department located at 535 Elm Street, Dalton, Georgia 30721. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals for a period of sixty (60) days. The City of Dalton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive formalities and re-advertise.
