Tyree Goodlett
Mr. Goodlett is a native of Dalton, Ga. He began to serve in January 2016 as the first African-American ever elected to the Dalton City Council. He is employed by The Dixie Group where he is the Merchandising Coordinator for residential business. He is a lifelong resident of Dalton, GA and is married to Ana Rojas, who works for Dalton Public Schools. They have two wonderful children together Andre Jr. and Kamea. Mr. Goodlett continues to be an active volunteer throughout the city of Dalton. He is an active member of Rock Bridge Community Church where he serves in the children’s ministry, he is also the Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 218, and Co-Founder of the non-profit organization H.O.P.E. He has served on numerous boards throughout the city.
Mr. Goodlett serves on the Public Works Committee, the Solid Waste Management Committee, the Technology Committee, and the Housing Authority Board.
