REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

HVAC RENOVATIONS

at DALTON CITY HALL

DALTON, GEORGIA

The City of Dalton requests proposals from qualified and professional firms to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and other necessary resources to perform all required work necessary to remove and dispose of the existing air conditioning systems and install new air conditioning systems at the Dalton City Hall located at 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, GA 30720.  This work must be performed in accordance with the specifications contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Dalton Finance Department located at 300 W. Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720 until:

AUGUST 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM ET

for the above referenced project.  Sealed proposals received after the designated time will not be considered.  Proposers shall inform themselves of and comply with all conditions and specifications contained in RFP, contract, related documents and State and Federal Law. 

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit is scheduled for AUGUST 13, 2024 AT 9:00 AM ET at Dalton City Hall located at 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, GA 30720.  Proposers will be required to attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit in order to be considered a responsive proposer.

The request for proposal package is open to public inspection at Dalton City Hall located at 300 West Waugh Street, 2nd Floor, Dalton, GA 30720.  Dalton City Hall may be contacted by telephone at (706) 278-9500 or by mail at P.O. Proposals must include the contractor’s response to all questions and fully executed Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed lump sum contract price (exclusive of any alternates and unit prices) in the form required by the Instructions to Proposers.  No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.  The City of Dalton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals (and/or alternates) and to waive formalities and re-advertise.
