2024-2028 CONSOLIDATED PLAN, 2024 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN &
2024 ANALYSIS OF IMPEDIMENTS TO FAIR HOUSING CHOICE
PUBLIC COMMENTS DUE BY: WEDNESDAY, MAY 1, 2024 – 5:00 P.M.
The City of Dalton will hold an initial Public Review Meeting to solicit comments on the 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan, 2024 Annual Action Plan & 2024 Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice at the Mack Gaston Community Center located at 218 N. Frederick St, Dalton, GA 30721 at 11:00 A.M on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
The City is required to develop the Five-Year 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan and 2024 Annual Action Plan which will include the annual allocation of funding by the City and is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development as a prerequisite to receiving funds for the Community Development Block Grant Program. The City’s 2024 CDBG allocations have not been released by HUD. As a point of reference, the City of Dalton received $367,688.00 in CDBG funding for FY2023. Draft copies of the Five-Year 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan, 2024 Annual Action Plan, and 2024 Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice will be available for examination and comment by the public via the City’s website at https://www.daltonga.gov/. The City will receive written comments until 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
No displacement will occur as a result of the activities described herein. Should displacement occur, the City of Dalton implements the provisions as required by CFR 570.606 (Residential Anti-Displacement and Relocation Assistance). COMENTARIOS PÚBLICOS DEBIDO: MIÉRCOLES 1 DE MAYO DE 2024 – 5:00 P.M.
La ciudad de Dalton celebrará una reunión de revisión pública inicial para solicitar comentarios sobre el Plan Consolidado 2024-2028, el Plan de Acción Anual de 2024 y el Análisis de Impedimentos para la Elección de Vivienda Justa de 2024 en el Centro Comunitario Mack Gaston ubicado en 218 N. Frederick St, Dalton , GA 30721 a las 11:00 a. m. del jueves 11 de abril de 2024.
Se requiere que la Ciudad desarrolle el Plan Consolidado Quinquenal 2024-2028 y el Plan de Acción Anual 2024 que incluirá la asignación anual de fondos por parte de la Ciudad y se presenta al Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de EE. UU. como requisito previo para recibir fondos para el Programa de Subvenciones en Bloque para el Desarrollo Comunitario. HUD no ha publicado las asignaciones CDBG de la ciudad para 2024. Como punto de referencia, la ciudad de Dalton recibió $367,688.00 en fondos CDBG para el año fiscal 2023.
