Waugh Street Lane, Sidewalk Closure This Week

One eastbound lane of Waugh Street near the intersection with Jones Street will be closed to traffic this week to make way for construction. The section of sidewalk in that area will be closed as well. Crews are working to install a new water line that will serve the new apartment complex being built on the site of the old jail at 501 W. Waugh Street. 

The work at the site is expected to take all week, depending on weather conditions.
