Thanksgiving Week Garbage/Recycling Collection Schedule

The City of Dalton's offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th to allow our employees to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. 

To ensure that all City residents receive their garbage and recycling pickup for the week, the collection schedule is being changed: 

  • Residents who usually have their garbage and recycling collected on Thursdays will instead be served on Tuesday, November 26th. 
  • Residents who usually have their garbage and recycling collected on Fridays will instead be served on Wednesday, November 27th. 
  • Monday-Wednesday collections will take place as usual.
