New Year's Day Garbage and Recycling Collection Schedule

The City of Dalton's offices and non-emergency services will be closed December 25th and 26th as well as January 1st in observance of the upcoming Christmas and New Year's holidays, but schedules for the collection of garbage and recycling are being adjusted to ensure minimal interruption in the service. 

There will be no garbage or recycling collection on December 25th or 26th. Homes that normally receive their garbage and recycling collection on Mondays will have their collection service on Wednesday, December 27th. Homes that normally receive their garbage and recycling collection on Tuesdays will be serviced on Thursday, December 28th. All other collections will take place as normally scheduled. 

The following week, there will be no garbage or recycling collection on New Year's Day, January 1st, 2024. Homes that normally receive their garbage and recycling collection on Mondays will instead be serviced on Tuesday, January 2nd. All other collections will take place as normally scheduled.
