Holiday Garbage Collection Schedule

The City of Dalton's Public Works Department will be taking time off for the Christmas and New Year's holidays, but we are still going to be working hard to make sure all residents of the City receive garbage and recycling pickup for those weeks. The Public Works Department will be closed on December 24th, 25th, and January 1st. 

For residents who normally have garbage and recycling collection on Thursday, December 24th's garbage and recycling collection will take place on Tuesday, December 22nd. Residents who usually have their garbage and recycling picked up on Fridays will be served on Wednesday, December 23rd. Monday through Wednesday's normally scheduled pickups will still take place as usual. The following week, Friday garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, December 31st with all other collections taking place as usual.
