Garbage/Recycling Pickup Schedule Adjusted For Memorial Day

The City of Dalton’s offices will be closed on Monday, May 31st in observation of Memorial Day. The Public Works Department will not be picking up household garbage, recycling, or refuse that day. In order to ensure that all residents receive their garbage and recycling pickup for the week, the schedule will be adjusted so residences who usually have pickup on Mondays will instead be picked up on Tuesday, June 1st. The rest of the week’s garbage schedule will remain as usual.
