Garbage/Recycling Collection Schedule For New Year's Holiday

City of Dalton offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Monday, January 2nd in observation of the New Year's Day holiday. 

There will be no garbage or recycling collection on January 2nd. Instead, the schedule will be adjusted as follows:

  • Homes that have garbage/recycling collections on Mondays will instead be collected on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023. 
  • The rest of the week's garbage/recycling collections will not be affected. 

The City of Dalton wishes all of our residents a very Happy New Year in 2023!
