Garbage, Recycling Collection Schedule For Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The City of Dalton's offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

There will be no garbage and recycling collection on those Monday. Instead, to ensure all City Residents receive garbage and recycling service for the week, Monday's garbage and recycling collections will instead take place on Tuesday, January 21st. All other collections will take place as usual. 

The Mayor and Council meeting that would typically take place Monday will instead be held on Tuesday, January 21st at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chamber at City Hall.
