PUBLIC NOTICE

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS -  RESURFACING LAKESHORE PARK TENNIS COURTS

The City of Dalton requests sealed proposals from qualified Contractors for the resurfacing of ten (10) tennis courts at Lakeshore Park, located at 28 Cedar Street, Dalton, GA 30720.

The requirements for construction of the Project, and the duties and responsibilities of the contractor whose Proposal is accepted, are set forth in the Request for Proposals issued by the City. In general, the successful Contractor will be required to repair and resurface ten (10) asphalt-based tennis courts as detailed in the request for proposal package.

There will be a MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM ET at the above referenced site.

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Dalton Finance Department located at 300 W. Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720 until THURSDAY, JULY 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM ET for the above referenced project.  The sealed proposal shall be clearly marked  BID #072921 on the outside of the package. Sealed proposals received after the designated time will not be considered.  Proposers shall inform themselves of and comply with all conditions and specifications contained in RFP, related documents, and State and Federal Law.

The request for proposal package is open to public inspection at the City of Dalton Recreation Department located at 904 Civic Drive, Dalton, Georgia 30720. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.  The City of Dalton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive formalities and re-advertise.
