Public Works and Facilities Committee

The City of Dalton's Public Works and Facilities Committee is responsible for overseeing the operations and planning of the City's Public Works Department. The Committee is responsible for all projects involving public property and facilities, railroads, the cemetery, the Dalton Municipal Airport, streets, and Public Works  projects. 

The Public Works and Facilities Committee meets monthly, with directors of the Public Works Department, the Dalton/Whitfield Solid Waste Authority, and code enforcement officers from the Dalton Police Department meeting with City Council liaisons Tyree Goodlett and Annalee Harlan.
