Custodian - Police Department

The City of Dalton is currently taking applications for Custodian with the Dalton Police Department. This position is responsible for a variety of custodial tasks, such as cleaning, sweeping, emptying waste baskets, buffing floors, maintaining restrooms, stocking supplies, and some light maintenance.  The candidate must possess knowledge in the proper use of cleaning equipment and demonstrate safe working practices when performing job functions.  Starting pay for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.  The typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.  A high school degree or equivalent is required.  The candidate must be at least 18 years of age and a United States citizen. The City of Dalton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
