Garbage/Recycling Schedule Change For Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

City of Dalton offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Monday, January 15th, 2024 in observation of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday. 

City residents who usually receive garbage and recycling service on Mondays will not be serviced on January 15th due to the holiday. Instead, those pickups will take place on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. The rest of the week's collections will take place as usual on their regularly scheduled day.
