Public Safety Commission To Meet Friday

The City of Dalton Public Safety Commission will hold a Called Meeting on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers at Dalton City Hall to appoint an Interim Fire Chief.

Fire Chief Todd Pangle is leaving the department to take on a new role at City Hall as the Assistant City Administrator. Pangle will be working with City Administrator Andrew Parker as a special liaison between select City departments, boards, and commissions as well as overseeing a number of special projects for the City. His first day in the new role will be Monday, August 28th.
