Full-Time Airport Lineman - Dalton Municipal Airport

The City of Dalton is currently accepting applications for the position of Airport Lineman. This is a hospitality position and applicants should be proficient in excellent customer service skills. Job duties for this position include performing all required duties associated with aircraft fueling, aircraft parking and ground movements, aircraft towing, aircraft ground power service, fuel truck maintenance, fuel quality control checks, record keeping, payment processing, radio communications, airfield maintenance, customer service, etc. This position is also responsible for housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the Airport Manager and/or Flight Line Manager. Applicants must be able to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. and must be available for after-hours calls as needed, weekends. This is a rewarding, entry-level position with on-the-job training. Typical work schedule is 38-42 hrs/week and every-other-weekend. Pay for this position is $16.50 per hour.
