Garbage/Recycling Schedule Adjusted For Labor Day

The City of Dalton's offices will be closed on Monday, September 5th in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Non-emergency services will also be closed that day.

The Public Works Department will not be collecting garbage and recycling on September 5th, and instead to ensure all city residents receive a pickup that day the schedule will be adjusted as follows: 

  • Monday's garbage and recycling pickups will instead take place on Tuesday, September 6th. 
  • All other garbage and recycling pickups (Tuesday, Sept. 6th - Friday, Sept. 9th) will take place as usually scheduled.
