Full-Time Laborer - Public Works (Sanitation Division)

The City of Dalton is currently accepting applications for a Laborer position.  This is a full-time position in the Public Works Department’s Sanitation Division with a starting pay rate of $11.70 to $12.27 per hour, depending on qualifications of applicant.  Primary job duties of this position include assisting the operator of the Department’s rear loader garbage truck with unloading of dumpsters and curbside garbage containers, maintaining equipment, and other duties as assigned.  Applicants must have a valid Class “C” Driver’s License issued by the State of Georgia.  A Commercial Driver’s license is desirable.
