Program/Therapeutic Leader - Recreation Department

The City of Dalton, Georgia Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Program/Therapeutic Leader.  This position is responsible for coordinating therapeutic programs and camps.

The purpose of this job is to organize and facilitate programs and activities throughout the year, this is both for recreational and therapeutic programming.  Program/Therapeutic Leader is responsible for part time program staff in executing programs and activities and must be able to communicate instructions in an understandable manner.  Must be punctual and understand concept of time and time management. Applicants must have high school diploma. Ideal applicants will have administrative experience in event and program planning.

Professional Certifications are desirable but not required- Certifications are Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP), Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist by NCTRC, Certified Parks & Recreation Executive (CPRE), Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA)
