Part-Time Convenience Center Attendant - Landfill

The City of Dalton is currently accepting applications for the position of part-time Convenience Center Attendant for the Dalton-Whitfield Solid Waste Authority (Landfill).  This position will be responsible for assisting customers at one of the Authority’s Convenience Centers as well as performing various tasks related to the disposal of residential refuse and recyclables.  Applicant needs to possess good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public.  The normal schedule will be Friday, Saturday and Monday, 8 hours per day for a maximum of 24 hours per week.  The starting pay is $9.25 per hour.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required and the applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
