Marketing and Communications Intern - DDDA

The City of Dalton is currently accepting applications for the Part Time position of Marketing and Communications Internship for the Downtown Dalton Development Authority (DDDA).  This position is to aid the Executive Director/Main Street Manager in the overall development, day-to-day operations and effective management of the DDDA and its programs. The position requires a broad knowledge of organizational management, volunteer development and downtown revitalization.  The intern will assist in organizing events, creating marketing materials and will aid in setting up and working events. Hours will vary depending on the week but intern will be scheduled for 25 to 30 hours each week. Some evenings and weekends will be required.
