The City of Dalton (Dalton-Whitfield Solid Waste Authority) has an immediate opening for a landfill groundskeeper.  This is a full-time position at the Old Dixie Hwy. landfill located at 4189 Old Dixie Hwy.

This position is responsible for maintaining grounds including closed and active landfill sites, recycling centers and convenience centers.  Work includes mowing, trimming, pruning, grassing, mulching, litter pick-up. etc.  This position also performs cleaning and maintenance tasks in and around buildings.  Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age and pass drug test and background test. Starting Salary is $15.36 per hour.  Full-time benefits are available. Typical work week is 40 hours, Monday thru Friday.
