Full-Time Convenience Center Attendant - Landfill

The City of Dalton is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Convenience Center Attendant for the Dalton-Whitfield Solid Waste Authority. This position will be responsible for assisting customers at one of the Authority’s Convenience Centers, and performing various tasks related to the disposal of residential refuse, the collection of recyclables and operating the convenience center in a safe and orderly manner.  Applicant needs to possess good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public.  The normal schedule will be Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 6:00 p.m., one week on and one week off.  The starting pay is $16.50 per hour. Excellent benefits and stable work environment.  The applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
