Athletic Coordinator - Recreation Department

The City of Dalton, Georgia Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Athletic Coordinator.  Under limited supervision, performs supervisory and recreational work planning, organizing, and directing a variety of indoor/outdoor athletic events and team sports. Work involves coordinating and monitoring athletic programs. Position is responsible for all staffing and managing of athletic events and programs under charge.

Ideal applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or a closely related field; or any equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience.

Professional Certifications are desirable but not required- Certifications are Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP) and Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA).
