VIDEO: Cart Path Paving Project Gets Rave Reviews

The City of Dalton's Public Works Department recently finished re-paving the cart paths at city-owned Nob North Golf Course, and the results are spectacular. The cart paths, which had been in worsening states of disrepair for years, are now smooth and accentuate the beauty of one of north Georgia's most lovely golf courses.

The paving project was badly needed at the golf course.

"For the quality of golf course we have," said Eric Hester, the course's head golf pro, "we had the worst cart paths I've ever seen."

Hester noted that the paths were a frequent source of complaints for visitors to the city's golf course.

'You couldn't ride anywhere on the paths without getting banged up. Now they're really smooth, and we're getting so many compliments about it," Hester said.

The city's thanks and compliments go to the Public Works Department for another job well done. The course is open for play, and you can find information about getting a tee time at www.nobnorth.com
