VIDEO: Young Gamechangers Ready To Present Report

The Young Gamechangers are ready to present their final report to the people of Greater Dalton. 

After nearly nine months of planning and five months of work, the young Georgia leaders taking part in the program will present their findings and share their ideas for Dalton's future on September 29th at 2:00 pm at the Dalton Convention Center. The public is invited to attend. 

The Young Gamechangers program is a leadership action program that brings together emerging leaders from across Georgia each year to focus on the challenges of one community. In its 10th year, the program selected Dalton to serve as host city. Dalton is the first community north of Atlanta ever to host the program.

A third of the group is from our local Dalton community with another third from metro Atlanta and a third from the rest of the state.

The group held their first meetings in Dalton in April and have returned to the community three times to study Dalton and collaborate with local officials, leaders, and residents. Together, they have learned collaborative, creative problem solving that they have put into action for Dalton.
