State of Georgia Hosting Training For Potential Candidates

If you've ever thought about running for public office but aren't sure how to get started, the State of Georgia is hosting a class next week in Dalton that will answer some of your questions. The State Ethics Commission will host a free training session for candidates and elected officials on June 18th that will cover the how to file important forms with election officials, the basics of campaign finance laws, and more. The class will be held from 10:00 until 12:00 pm at the Whitfield County Courthouse.
