Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)
The City is required to publish a complete set of audited financial statements annually. The ACFR represents the finances of the City of Dalton and is presented in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles and audited in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards by a firm of licensed public accountants.
The Finance Department has been presented the Government Finance Officers Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting award consecutively since 2001.
